We have expertise in international development and climate change communication and have unique geographic reach. We’re based in Nairobi, Kenya and have produced content in over 20 countries globally.
Miranda has produced interactive documentaries for the World Bank, IRIN News and the Australian Broadcast Corporation; built commercial websites for various social enterprises; and undertaken assignments for the BBC, AJ+ and The Guardian.
Miranda is interested in the intimacy of storytelling. With a passion for social justice and innovative storytelling, she has ten years of experience and education in journalism, creative content production and media start-ups.
Miranda was awarded Walkley Young Online Journalist 2012, Clarion Queensland Young Journalist of the Year in 2012, ABC Local Radio Content Maker of the Year in 2012 and shortlisted for Walkley Young TV/Video Journalist in 2013. She holds a Masters of Arts (International Relations) and a Bachelor of Communications (Theatre/Media).
Timothy Mwaura is a talented cinematographer and photographer, with extensive experience across the African continent. With an eye for composition and a high attention to detail, Tim approaches his craft with the passion of a poet. As a creative producer based in Nairobi, Tim specialises in development and corporate communications, ranging from feature films, TV commercials, organisational documentaries. Tim has worked for esteemed clients including CLASP.ngo, Purpose UK, PSI Kenya, SAUTISOL, and social enterprise SUAVE Kenya.

Mia has led communication strategy for NGOs and social enterprise corporations across Africa, Mexico, India, Southeast Asia, and the United States. Through this work, she’s developed a specialty in documentary storytelling, focused on environmental and humanitarian issues.
During her time in Kenya, Mia has produced video content for organisations such as the World Bank and World Wildlife Fund as well as television stories for international broadcasters CNN and Sony Pictures.
Mia holds a Master of Business (Nonprofit Management) and a Bachelor of Arts (Applied Anthropology).
Abu ‘Sensei’ Majid is a storyteller; writer, actor, filmmaker, spoken word artist and musician from Nairobi, Kenya. His major credit is creating and directing Too Early For Birds, a blockbuster multimedia theatre show detailing excerpts from Kenyan history. His storytelling chops recently flew him out to Doha, Qatar as FIFA’s main presenter to cover the FIFA Club World Cup. Abu holds a BA in International Relations from the United States International University.

Eugene is an intuitive cinematographer, specializing in drone aerials, film direction, and video editing. He has created content for major networks Startimes, Zuku, Switch TV and CNN International. Eugene’s primary professional aspiration is to positively impact lives through film, and he continues to go the extra mile for clients while having fun in the creative process. Eugene believes that life is not a destination but a continuous journey and process of growth. We are all always under construction.
Eugene studied broadcast journalism at Star Media Institute and communication at Andrew Crawford Media School, where he majored in TV production.
